CONTACT Beaver Valley is in need of phone volunteers to staff the Crisis Hotline and Information Service.

CONTACT Beaver Valley has provided confidential telephone crises response and information referral services for the people of Beaver County for over 30 years. The caring phone volunteers at CONTACT Beaver Valley receive an average of 35 calls daily.

CONTACT Beaver Valley is a member of the 1-800-SUICIDE Helpline and the 1-800-273-TALK National Suicide Hopeline.

CONTACT Beaver Valley also functions as Beaver County's Homeless Helpline. 

CONTACT Beaver Valley also provides a Telephone Reassurance Program. Sixty clients, referred by the Beaver County Office on Aging, community churches, and family members are called at a specified time each day to check on their well being. These clients are elderly, isolated individuals who rely on their daily interaction with CONTACT Beaver Valley.

CONTACT Beaver Valley provides "Skills for Better Listening" classes for volunteers and continuing education for community members. All of CONTACT Beaver Valley's services are free to the public.

CONTACT Beaver Valley is accredited by CONTACT USA and The American Assocation of Suicidology.
