Artist's rendering of the Wellness Center. Penn State Beaver officially opened its Wellness Center addition to the gym in September 2012.

The $3.3 million project, designed by Pittsburgh-based WTW Architecture, adds 4,980 square feet of space to the gym and includes areas for weightlifting, cardio machines, and aerobics. In addition, 1,500 square feet of gym space was renovated.

Current students, faculty, staff, and Beaver campus alumni (restrictions apply) are able to use the facilities when they present a valid Penn State ID at the registration desk. Hours for the facilities will be posted in the Wellness Center at the beginning of each semester.
