Brodhead Cultural Center season begins with two free concerts

6/1/2012 —

The Penn State Beaver Brodhead Cultural Center will kick off its 36th summer season with two free concerts open to the public. This summer’s event sponsors are The Times, Beaver Valley Musicians Union Local 82-545, and Eat’n Park Hospitality Group.
The Hopewell Community Big Band will open the season with a concert at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 19. The Allegheny Brass Band will perform at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 26.

In the event of inclement weather, shows will move into the campus auditorium.

The Beaver Valley Area Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association will sell concessions prior to and during each show. Proceeds benefit the group’s scholarships for Beaver campus students.
