Alumni Society raises more than $21,000 for scholarships

The Penn State Beaver Alumni Society netted a profit of $21,245 from its eleventh annual golf outing held in September at Seven Oaks Country Club. The total was announced at the group recent meeting on Saturday, Nov. 26.
The proceeds will provide additional funding for the principle of the Penn State Beaver Alumni Society Endowed Scholarship. In addition to donations made for campus scholarships, the Alumni Society has also donated some of the previous golf outing proceeds to enhance campus signage.
