New members join Penn State Beaver Advisory Board
Penn State President Graham Spanier has approved the appointment of three community members to the 2011-12 Penn State Beaver Advisory Board.
New members are David W. Robbins, chairman of the board and chief executive officer, Crucible Materials Corporation; Donald E. Sheffield, education consultant, president of TAME Inc. and Penn State affiliate professor of education; and I. David Atcheson, owner, Atcheson Oral Surgery.
The 2011-12 Advisory Board officers are John J. Feraco, manufacturing team leader, NOVA Chemicals, Inc., president; Nick Andrews, president and owner, Andrews Industrial Controls, president-elect; Arlene Bell, director of community health services, Heritage Valley Health System, vice president; and Beaver Chancellor Gary Keefer, secretary.
The Advisory Board is comprised of 35 members of the community as well as student and campus representatives. The group meets five times throughout the academic year.
