State government information session hosted on campus

On Thursday, Penn State Beaver hosted State Representative Jim Christiana (R- District 15) in an information and Q & A session for students, faculty, and staff. Christiana discussed a variety of topics, including the Marcellus Shale industry in Pennsylvania, the state budget, the state welfare system, transparency in state spending, and the state’s Liquor Control Board. Students primarily from journalism and business classes attended the presentation held in the General Classroom Building.
