Rock 'n Roar Music Fest to take place Sept. 23 at Penn State Beaver
Penn State Beaver’s free Rock ‘n Roar Music Fest will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 23, at the Brodhead Cultural Center’s J. P. Giusti Amphitheater. The concert, which is Beaver’s sixth annual free fall concert, is co-sponsored by The Times.
Anthony Rankin and Punchline, both from the Pittsburgh area, will perform along with The Adam Craig Band from Nashville. Rankin is a Duquesne University music school grad known for his fiery brand of soul-driven rock and roll, songwriting and unmistakable voice. Punchline is a pop-punk band from Belle Vernon with a distinctive sound and dedicated fan base. The group has toured the world with acts that include Fall Out Boy, Paramore, and Hawthorne Heights. The Adam Craig Band (formerly known as Telluride) is an up-and-coming band recognized for their new brand of country music and high-energy stage shows.
