Campus wins The Times' Best of the Valley Award
Penn State Beaver has received the gold medal in the Best of the Valley Readers’ Choice awards, chosen by readers of The Beaver County Times.
"We’re honored that The Times’ readers continue to recognize the quality education and experiences offered to our students at Beaver campus," said Amy M. Krebs, director of campus and community relations. "We’re proud of the fact that we enjoy such a strong bond with both our community and The Times readers."
Beaver’s enrollment for 2009-10 was 855. The campus offers six baccalaureate degrees in administration of justice, applied psychology, business, communications, information sciences and technology, and letters, arts and sciences. Beaver also hosts an R.N. to B.S. nursing degree completion program offered by Penn State Shenango.
Beaver hosts the master’s in education in teaching and curriculum program offered by Penn State Harrisburg, The Capital College. The campus also offers associate degrees in business administration, information sciences and technology, letters, arts and sciences, and science as well as minors in business, civic and community engagement, information sciences and technology, psychology, and security and risk analysis.
