Caribbean journalism is topic of Faculty Speakers Series presentation
The Penn State Beaver Spring Semester Faculty Speakers Series will continue with a presentation by Juliette Storr, assistant professor of communications, at noon on March 17, in room 16 of the Student Union Building on campus. Storr’s topic will be "Caribbean Journalism in the 21st Century: Globalization, Regional Integration and National Identity.” She will describe her research on this century’s transformation of Caribbean journalism with globalization of news organizations and convergent digital technologies.
Cassandra Miller-Butterworth, assistant professor of biology, will present "Illuminating the Darkness: The Upside Down World of Bat Research” at noon on April 14, also in room 16 of the Student Union Building.
