8/6/2009 —

Burke’s Bavarian Brass will present a free concert at the Penn State Beaver Brodhead Cultural Center at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, August 6 at the Center’s J. P. Giusti Amphitheater. The show is part of the Cultural Center’s 33rd summer season of free and low-cost programming for the public.

The Beaver Valley Area Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association operates the Center’s concession stand, which will sell a variety of hot and cold refreshments before and during the concert. All proceeds benefit the Chapter’s endowed scholarship for Beaver campus students.

The Baker-Dungan Museum, located on the hill overlooking the amphitheater, will open that evening for free to the public from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
