Voices Against Violence Committee urges support of Crisis Center North
The Penn State Beaver Voices Against Violence Committee encourages the public to participate in the AllState Foundations Good Hands Program which generates support for nonprofit programs across the country.
Four domestic violence centers in Allegheny County were selected to participate, including Crisis Center North which is overseen by director Grace Coleman, a Beaver campus adjunct faculty and frequent guest speaker on campus. AllState will award $15,000 to the nonprofit that receives the most online votes in order to provide additional funding for the group's projects, outreach and activities.
