Obama to visit Penn State Beaver Thursday

3/12/2008 —

Sen. Barack Obama will take part in a town hall question-and-answer event at 1 p.m. Thursday (March 13) in the gymnasium of the Penn State Beaver campus.  Tickets for the event are free and limited to two per person. They will be available from noon-8 p.m., or while supplies last, today (March 12) at Penn State Beaver’s Ross Administration Building.

The Illinois Senator is in a strongly contested battle for the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination with Sen. Hillary Clinton, and both candidates have turned their attention to Pennsylvania and its April 22 primary election. Both candidates and their supporters have already begun touring the Commonwealth, and last week former President Bill Clinton visited Penn State Brandywine is support of his wife.
