Beaver Theatre will Present Children’s Play, The Bremen Town Musicians

In April Penn State Beaver Theatre will present its annual spring children’s play, The Bremen Town Musicians, in the Student Union Building auditorium. Performances of this famous fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm are open to pre-schools, grade schools, youth organizations, and the public.

Students in the theatre acting and production class are the cast and crew members. The play is produced and directed by Dr. Carol Schafer, associate professor of theatre and women’s studies. Technical support is provided by Keith Olash.

Performances for schools will be held as follows: April 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, and 24 at 10 a.m. and April 15 and 17 at 11:30am. One performance open to the public will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 13. Tickets for all performance are $3 per child and adult.
