Alonna Verrico is Penn State Beaver Athlete of the Week

Alonna Verrico was named the Penn State Beaver Athlete of the Week for helping the Beaver Lady Lions basketball team go 2-1 on the week. In a loss to Penn State Greater Allegheny, Alonna scored a season and career high of 18 points and followed that performance with her first career double-double (11 points and 10 rebounds) in a game against Franciscan University. A native of Rochester, Alonna is a sophomore major in the Division of Undergraduate Studies.
