Beaver campus annual Undergraduate Research Fair will be held April 16
Penn State Beaver’s 13th Annual Undergraduate Research Fair will be held Wednesday, April 16, in the Student Union Building.
This event is designed to highlight student scholarship and research conducted on campus in conjunction with faculty. The fair showcases student presentations of in-depth, original, scholarly work, and research. Projects from all academic disciplines, including science, liberal arts, math and humanities, are encouraged.
Students are required to submit an abstract for approval by their research adviser. This year’s Undergraduate Research Fair is chaired by Irene Wolf, senior instructor in philosophy. Other committee members are Zhongyuan Che, associate professor of mathematics; Matthew Grunstra, assistant professor of earth and mineral sciences; Ana da Luz Fontes, assistant professor of psychology; Donna Kuga, director of academic affairs; John Chapin, professor of communications; Joann Chirico; senior instructor in sociology; and Talha Harcar, associate professor of business.
